 Automatic Logout Problem

Dear Support,

Whenever I leave my computer for an extended period of
time, it automatically logs me out. So when I come back
to it, I have to log in at the welcome window. How do I
turn this feature off so I stay logged into my account?

Thanks for your help

 Automatic Logout Problem

Right click on the desktop and select Properties.

From the ScreenSaver tab, select Power.

Oon the Advanced tab... ensure that the line Prompt for password when
computer resumes from standby is UNCHECKED

If you have a ScreenSaver working ensure that the box next to the chosen
ScreenSaver that says On Resume, Password Protect is also UNCHECKED.

If it's not that then it might be the screen saver requiring logon.
Click right on the desktop select properties
Select screen saver
Untick On resume display welcome screen

1.automatic logout after idle time in xp with fast user switching

Hi. I'm using fast user switching on a home network Problem is I'll leave
the computer for a little while and it always locks the computer and i have
to re-enter my password at the welcome screen. I want passwords on all the
accounts, but I don't want it to time out so quickly. Is there a way to
change the default idle time before the computer locks and asks for a
password again? Where do you change that?
