Any idea how to fix

Go to control panel, click on mouse, click on pointer-
options tab and check "Hide pointer while typing".

Thanks for the help, but it was checked.  My real problem
is more like this.  When I am typing the cursor moves and
I type in the middle of prevouly typed text
