 unsuccessful restore

Once the Restore Points are gone, they are gone.
Go to System Restore, click "System Restore settings".
Place check in box for "Turn off System Restore", click OK and reboot
Go back to System Restore and remove check, click OK.
This procedure deletes all Restore Points (they are not working
anyways) and normally resolves issues with System Restore.
Now you can deal with your original issue which is?
