 Cannot load VDM IPX/SPX support

When I first installed Windows XP on my work computer my
department had a shared Netware Server and therefore, I
had to load IPX/SPX support to access it.  We then added
wireless support with VPN for security but for some
reason IPX/SPX can not be supported over the wireless
connecion (at least in our implementation).  In order to
get rid of an annoying popup box indicating the lack of
IPX/SPX support over the wireless I removed the IPX/SPX

My problem is that when I open up a COMMAND.COM window
(Start->Run->Command) I get a "Cannot load VDM IPX/SPX
support error" and can not figure out why or how to get
rid of it.

Can anyone help???

Thanks in advance.
